The Jordan Hotels Association held discussions with the Palestinian Hotels Association and the Palestinian Association of Inbound Tour Operators on ways to strengthen joint cooperation, exchange expertise, and develop partnerships between the tourism sectors in Jordan and Palestine, in addition to discussing opportunities for training, marketing, and the development of joint tourism programmes.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Hotels Association, Mr. Hussein Hilalat, affirmed that Jordanian-Palestinian relations constitute a solid foundation for building institutional and sustainable tourism cooperation, stressing the importance of translating such meetings into practical initiatives that serve the tourism sector in both countries.

For his part, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Hotels Association, Mr. Hani Al-Dabbas, emphasized that the next phase requires moving from traditional cooperation towards genuine tourism integration. He noted that Jordan and Palestine possess a religious, historical, and cultural tourism product capable of shaping an integrated and competitive tourism experience at the international level.

Al-Dabbas added that the challenges facing the region require strengthening partnerships between the private sectors, exchanging expertise, building capacities, and developing joint programmes targeting international markets. He stressed that investing in human expertise and modern marketing represents one of the most important keys to enhancing the competitiveness of the tourism sector.

For their part, members of the Palestinian delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Jordan Hotels Association for the warm reception, praising Jordan’s experience in the hotel and tourism sectors and affirming the importance of maintaining cooperation between the two sides.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Jordan Hotels Association honoured the Palestinian delegation with commemorative plaques, reaffirming the depth of relations and partnership between tourism institutions in the two countries.
